I seriously love these travel books. I own about 10 to different cities. Any time we take a trip, we buy one. I'll keep it simple...1. There are tons of pictures.2. There is a nice map.3. It fits in my back pocket (sticks out a little).4. It's glossy so it can get a little wet and be ok.5. It breaks things down in such a way that you can easily see the highlights in any city.6. I'll mention tons of pictures again because if you compare this to a Fodor's side by side you will see why you want this one.

I'm an avid traveler and I'm picky about my travel books. Considering I only spent 3 days in Toronto, this book did just fine for me. It had enough information to get me to some really interesting sites and neighborhoods. It even gave detailed walking tours through the sites & neighborhoods I visited. For such a small book, it actually packs quite a bit of detail. Very happy with this purchase!

Have used Top Ten for other cities and loved it. Small size can fit in pants pocket, making it easy to take with you. Great for visiting the tourist sites. Proposed tour routes to visit the major attractions is very useful. Book focuses on the sites and not so much on lodging or restaurants, which other tour books are better at.

Used it on a recent weekend trip to Toronto. Very useful guide and provided plenty of guidance for us to see the sights and get around the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Toronto and the Top 10 guide helped us find our way.

Eyewitness Travel books are always good. This one is compact and has a nice pull out map focusing on Downtown.

Once again I chose to purchase a DK Top 10 book, this time for Toronto. We had been to Toronto once before, so I didn't need a big, detailed book. We used the Top 10 extensively over our week long stay, as I could carry it easily in my small backpack purse. HIghly recommended!
